European Oak Bollards – Made for Generations!
Are you looking for bollards that can last for decades? Then European Oak bollards are exactly what you want. The tannin contained in this wood naturally prevents against rotting even when in contact with the soil and the density means that impacts by vehicles cannot splinter the wood.
Our bollards are carefully hand selected from our yard stock to obtain timber that is sound, without defects and has the right grain pattern to produce premium quality bollards that can withstand whatever is thrown at them and look the part at the same time.
Obviously oak wood is expensive compared to soft woods but as long as you are using the bollards for commercial projects, the price is definitely worth paying if only once in a life time and not twice or thrice.
British Larch & Douglas Fir Bollards – Exceptionally Good Value
Are you looking for timber bollards that are reliable yet affordable? Then look no further than our British Larch or Douglas Fir bollards which can provide you with natural weather and durability twice as good as standard pine timber, along with excellent grain patterns.
The resin content in the timber means that it can resist weathering and the timber machined very neatly into crisp weathered profiles. Our track record speaks for itself and our British Larch bollards used in some of the most extreme weathering conditions on rural sites have performed flawlessly year after year.

Five Different Weathered Top Profiles – You Decide!
We offer timber bollards with five different tops and for good reason as different tops will benefit from certain applications:
- Flat Top: a contemporary styled top that is neat looking, but does not shed water.
- Back Weathered: top with one angled face that allows water to run off.
- Half Pyramid: has two angled faces and good for moderate water shedding.
- Pyramid Top: water shedding and excellent for any permanent installation.
- Four Way Flat Top: square top with slight bevels and excellent water drainage.
Make your decision based on the aesthetics and application along with water shedding requirements.
Three Finishing Choices + Full Customisation Options
Rough Sawn: bollard is left in its natural state and is cheap. Ideal for traditional usuage.
Planed All Round (PAR): gives the bollard faces a clean, contemporary look. Planing reduces size by 6mm.
Planed & Chamfered: this is similar to Planed All Round except that the edges are chamfered. Very nice looking bollard that is ideal for commercial projects.
Other Available Custom Options:
- Single/double grooves for reflective tape, specify when ordering
- Mortised for chain/rail installations
- Reflective tapes in various colours
- Any other customisations that might be required
