These crates of kiln dried oak hardwood firewood logs are one of our most popular fuel products here at UK Timber as not only are they excellent value for money, but the convenient crate design for ease of storage combined with the exceptional burning quality of these logs makes this one of our best selling firewood options.

Kiln dried to a low moisture content, to below 20% moisture content, these logs offer a consistent high heat output due to lack of internal moisture. Consisting of mixed hardwood including oak, ash, hornbeam, birch, sycamore, aspen, alder and beech (mix dependant on availability of material at the time the crate is packed), these logs are widely regarded as the some of the best kiln dried logs available. With a lower moisture content than alternative seasoned firewood, these kiln dried logs offer an exceptional heat and a long burn time, that simply can not be compared to other firewood options and is easily the longest lasting firewood option.

1m3 of stacked firewood is roughly the equivalent to 1.7m3 of a loosely filled bulk bag, so these crates represent excellent value for money. The crate has also been kiln dried, therefore once the logs have been burnt, the crate can also be utilised and burned.

These crates are delivered free on a burnable pallet to your kerbside on an 18-tonne or a larger sized vehicle to your kerbside, therefore please ensure that you are able to accommodate and accept deliveries from vehicles of this size. Should you require a smaller vehicle for delivery, please contact us to ensure we can facilitate this for you.

To encourage air flow around your logs, we recommend that you store them in the crate, a raised log store or on a pallet to keep your logs away from moist ground. We do not recommend stacking them up against a wall or placing them on grass, as air won't be able to flow and the logs can become damp.

For ease when building your fire, we recommend our boxes/nets of kindling and our Ecofire Natural Firelighters.
