    Untreated Siberian Larch Railway Sleeper

If you're looking for a naturally stunning, stable and durable sleeper, our Untreated Siberian Larch Railway Sleeper ticks all of those boxes.

Siberian Larch is naturally durable and commonly known as one of the strongest softwoods in the world. Siberian larch trees grow very slowly and thus the larch wood is extremely dense as reflected in its tight grain.

Naturally durable due to its high resin content, no treatments are required!

Hardy, stable and environmentally credible, it will stand the test of time in terms of traffic and its environmental elements, making these sleepers perfect for use in many landscaping applications.

The wood is a beautiful pale reddish-brown, sharply defined from the narrow, lighter-coloured sapwood. Eventually your sleeper(s) will turn to a silvery grey once exposed to the elements. As this a living untreated product, they are subject to some shrinking, warping and surface splits, however this will be significantly less than that of an oak sleeper! With Siberian Larch you are offered almost similar strength and durability to that of oak, but much more stability!

A sleeper with almost similar characteristics of a hardwood sleeper at softwood prices!

Available in various lengths and perfect for use with our landscaping wood screws
