Hand and Base Rail

Hand and Base rails are one of the essential structural elements of any balustrade. Our rails are universal as they can be used for both hand and base rails for the construction of your decking.  Made from green pressure treated softwood for protection against insect attack and fungal decay, the rails will show some colour variation throughout the natural aging process. Once this product is exposed to external conditions, the green colour slowly weathers to a warm honey brown, which will gradually transform into a natural silver grey over time. Moulded to an elegant finish, these rails are ideal for anyone who is looking for a balustrade that is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is fit for purpose and offers longevity.

We also supply spindles, newels and chamfered spindle panels this is treated softwood range to ensure you have everything you need to complete your decking project.
