Fresh Sawn Oak Waney Edge Cladding

This waney edge cladding is ideal for those wanting to achieve a more traditional look. This type of cladding is made from freshly sawn (green) oak, cut from logs harvested in native woodlands.

Our waney edged cladding is supplied in random lengths between two and four metres. It also comes in random widths between 150mm and 300mm. We supply this cladding by the square metre. Please allow for an overlap of between 40-50mm (around 30% extra) when calculating the coverage area.

NB: Oak boards potentially shrink by as much as 10% over the first three years as the natural drying process takes its course. If exposed to hot and/or dry weather, before or soon after fitting, the oak boards are likely to cup, warp and split. We recommend that the best time to fit oak cladding is in the autumn/winter period.
